One of our favorite places to go in Pittsburgh is Schenley Park. We actually lived right next to the park so within walking distance, then we moved a little further away, now we are out of the city and about a 25 minute car ride away. While Schenley park has some great trails and a lake one of our favorite things to do there is watch the sunset. You get a great view of the sun setting right over downtown Pittsburgh. Even if you don’t live nearby it is worth checking out one sunset there.
Since we now live a bit far away we decided to make a night of it picking up food from Hello Bistro on the way! It was such a nice relaxing night enjoying the sunset together and it was so good to see so many people out.
If you are in the Pittsburgh area and have the chance to catch the sunset at Schenley park you won’t regret it!
